Ok, who doesn’t love Reese’s Pieces? Lol. Hope you enjoy these as much as we did.
Banana Bread (preheat oven to 350 degrees)
3-4 black bananas (you really have to use black bananas. Otherwise they wont mix into the bread and it wont taste right, I speak from experience, trial and error)
2 Cups of flour (I used 1 cup wheat 1 cup brown rice flour), I keep hearing that wheat flour isn’t that great for you either, so I’m on the fence with that one. Well, better than white flour.
1 Cup Sugar (use what you have, brown/white, or mix), I still haven’t seen much difference to using one or the other
2 eggs (you can use just 1 egg if that is all you have)
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
1 stick of butter melted (you could use 1/2 cup apple sauce, and or 1/4 cup canola oil with 1/4 cup butter) (it really wont come out right using all oil)
1/4 cup flax (grounded)
1/4 cup oats
1/2 bag of Reese’s Pieces Baking Pieces
If you want, just regular ones instead. its up to you. Try something new.
In large bowl, use a mixer or electric egg beater if you can, blend together first:
eggs, sugar, honey very well.
rest of ingredients. (except the Reese’s Pieces Baking Pieces, add those very last, folding them in)
Make a sugar/Cinnamon shaker: (I make it myself, use an empty salt shaker and mix 3 parts sugar, 1 part Cinnamon), then, canola oil the pans first, then sprinkle theCinnamon/sugar around the bottom and edges of the pans.
pour batter into either muffin tins or baking pans.
bake 350 degees for about 30 minutes, until ready when toothpick is inserted and comes out clean.
