So I’m giving you my secret pizza dough recipe. The picture above is about what was left of the 3 pizzas I made tonight.
Get you breadmaker out. You probably have a dough setting, mine takes 1 1/2 hours, because that takes too long, my kids would be eating everything in the kitchen if they had to wait that long for dinner. lol. So, I use the quick bread setting that takes 1 hour, I set the timer for 30 minutes and take the dough out right before it starts baking, ok, I know thats kind of the cheaters way, but it works great. Now, my bread maker has the delay timer setting too, but rushing kids out the door in the morning to rush them to school and go to work, I’m lucky to have 3 minutes to get my hair done. lol
Ok, here’s the dough recipe
1 1/2 cups warm water
1 tsp. salt
1/4 cup oil
1/3 cup sugar
3 cloves fresh garlic (I’m against garlic salt lol)
some parm cheese (I don’t measure that)
some fresh basil would be best, I only had the dried basil tonight
3 cups wheat flour
some flax, maybe 1/4 cup? (I dont measure that)
1/4 cup oats ? (I dont measure that)
2 1/2 tsp. yeast
My breadmaker asks for the wet ingredients on the bottom.
Set it on dough setting, or quick bread setting taking it out right before it bakes.
Roll out dough onto cookie sheet or pizza pans, bake first 15-20 minutes at 375. I dont like to put the ingredients on first with fresh dough, the dough will not cook all the way. Bake the dough first its better.
Then, add your choice of pizza toppings. Don’t be afraid to get out your food processor and add to that can of spaghetti sauce some fresh veggies, broccoli, tomatoes, carrots, and bell pepper. It really helps the sauce.
Bake another 15-20 minutes or until your kids are too hungry to wait any longer.
