I’m not sure how that’s going to work since I am supposed to wear the trays from 05/29/14 for the 2 weeks until I get the attachments on 06/11/14. I will have the attachment pieces put in 2 weeks after I wear the trays with the attachment piece slots. So, I’m not sure yet how that is all working…
By now, after 2 weeks and 2 days of wearing my tray 1s, I have gotten used to wearing them. The whole brushing your teeth and flossing after every meal has been a really good thing. It is something you do have to get used to, the whole planning your meals and carrying your floss and toothbrush around in your purse. I have been snacking far less because it’s a mission to make sure you brush and floss each time before putting back in your trays. So, hopefully I can lose a few lbs. after this is over. Lol
My co-workers have not noticed yet (or not said anything) and one other friend noticed, since it is an adjustment in talking, pronouncing some of your words isn’t the same. Singing isn’t the same either, but, it’s not forever, it’s a season of time, right?
I didn’t experience much pain at all. I did experience some wobbly teeth feeling (as I was eating), and also my front teeth (which already had pressure on them prior) had quite a bit more pressure that became hard to deal with mostly at night before bed, it started a week after I was wearing my trays and finally subsided a couple days ago. Thank God.
There were also a few moments that I thought to myself that I should of just gotten clear braces, and not dealt with the vampire mouth, lol. I began to panic of this commitment I have made to wear these trays for over a year. I thought I couldn’t do it and that I was crazy. It is a big commitment. I don’t think it’s for everyone. Braces may be easier in my opinion. But, I’m venturing on in this journey and not looking back. Praying that God helps me through….Thankful that I was able to work out our family finances to even do this for myself.
